I was inspired to do this painting by watching the deer in Colorado Springs. I was working there as a software engineer. Colorado is the most beautiful place I have ever visited. Clear blue skies and snow clad mountains covered with beautiful aspen trees. It is a gorgeous sight in the fall when all the aspen trees change their color to bright yellow. Rabbits and deer are some of the animals which roam freely. You can watch wild deer in urban areas completely at home. I used to follow them and take lots of pictures. Incidentally this is my first ever oil painting. I used to work with pencils only.
