Lady tigress is inviting Mr tiger to play with her during their romantic courtship rituals. They have had a bout of play as can be seen from their water drenched bodies and the waves they created in the water.
In this picture I tried to bring in emotions, relationship, and a good composition to get away from the boring animal portraits where an animal alone is depicted in some environment. I wanted to go beyond that. Wanted the painting to tell a story. I felt like creating something which can hold the viewer's attention for a longer duration. I have added a lot of detail for the viewer to spend time with.
