Tian Tan Buddha 
Oil based Latex paint on Canvas (48"x60") 2007. Dallas, TX.     I was to paint a Buddha painting to be placed above a fireplace. Since it will be hung higher than the viewer, I was searching for an angle where the viewer will be looking up to the Buddha.  I chose the Tian Tan Buddha from the Lantau island in HongKong. It's the world's largest bronze seated Buddha statue.
