My wife Sonali had been asking me to paint something other than the realistic wildlife paintings I have been doing, for a long time. She has immense faith in Ganesh ji. So when I thought about making the switch, Ganesh ji was the obvious choice. I needed something striking and different than usual Ganesh poses. I chose the sinduri color and a big size to create an impact when you first see it. Kept it monocolor to maximize the impact.
